Cloud security, network security, and incident response. Helping enterprise teams find, understand, and fix what puts them at risk.
I'm a Cloud Support Engineer, Security at AWS, helping enterprise customers investigate, troubleshoot, and secure their cloud environments. I work daily with Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, Amazon Inspector, AWS CloudTrail, Amazon Macie, IAM Identity Center, and AWS Organizations, analyzing security logs and telemetry to identify risks, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities before they become incidents.
Before AWS, I worked as a Security and Network Engineer at eCom Solutions, managing SOC operations, firewall administration, and incident triage across enterprise environments. Originally from Bahia, Brazil, I moved to Dublin, Ireland to pursue my Master's degree, on top of a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. I hold certifications across AWS, Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and Cisco, and I keep sharpening my offensive and defensive skills on TryHackMe.
Investigating security incidents across enterprise AWS environments, correlating logs and telemetry with threat intelligence to catch what automated tools miss.
Designing least-privilege access models with IAM and IAM Identity Center, and keeping multi-account environments consistent with AWS Organizations and AWS Config.
Firewall administration, VPN, and DDoS protection across enterprise networks, backed by hands-on work with Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, F5, and Cisco platforms.
Triaging and resolving security incidents end to end, from root cause analysis to remediation, and automating repetitive investigation steps with Python and Linux tooling.
Always interested in connecting with fellow engineers, collaborating on security tooling, or trading notes on AWS.
